During your Christmas Event
Managing Your Guestlist
You’ve put a lot of work into planning your party and once you’ve opened the doors of No. 25 you’ll, no doubt, want to spend as much time as you can with your guests. Don’t forget to delegate managing your guest list on the night as you’ll want to know who attended so that you can follow up with them afterwards. Some venues offer staff who can look after this but you may prefer to manage this yourself, we’re happy to discuss your needs with you on an individual basis.
Themed Christmas Parties
Christmas parties are a fabulous excuse to throw a themed party, from a Winter Wonderland to Santa’s Grotto or even a Christmas jumper party. If you are having a theme, make sure your guests know what it is well in advance so they can have plenty of time to prepare. Some people may be a little reluctant to join in so if you’re providing any props to help them make sure to arrange delivery of them prior to the event starting. We’re happy to go through any delivery details with you and have your prop station ready for your guests, that way you can get straight into having fun when everyone arrives.
Seating Plans
Depending on the type of event you’re hosting you might have a dedicated seating plan, open seating, or a standing drinks reception. If you have a dedicated seating plan it’s important to make sure that we have the most up to date one. Your seating plan is likely to have some last-minute changes, Christmas Party season is well known for being cold and flu season too and it’s likely that you’ll have some guests who will cancel at the last minute. If we have the most up to date plan you won’t need to worry about seating your guests and can carry on socialising while we take care of everything else.
Transportation
Christmas Party season is notorious for being a challenging time for booking taxis. With that in mind, if you’re hosting a corporate party do you need to organise transportation for your guests? We recommend booking all of your taxis in advance so that you won’t need to take time away from your party, either at the beginning or end of the event. Consider whether your guests will be coming directly from work, another venue, or from home, and factor in lots of time to get them to the party. If you are organising transport to No. 25 make sure the drivers know where we are. If they aren’t familiar with us, you can find us on the map here.
If you’ve organised transport to No. 25 are you also arranging transport home for your guests? Don’t forget to book this in advance too. The last thing you want to do at the end of the night is chase taxi’s when what you really want to do is spend time with your guests. A little forward planning means that you’ll have lots of time to enjoy the festivities.
